Lookout Motel is located in Mullan, Idaho. Use I-90 exit 68 or 69. We are a short distance from the Idaho-Montana border. We are only five miles away from the Lookout Ski Lodge and recreation area and 20 miles from the Silver Mountain recreational area. A great feature of this peaceful little spot is the south fork of the Couer D'Alene river which flows past the motel. Microwaves and refrigerators and kitchenettes are great for preparing your own meals but Mullan's eateries also provide unique and home cooked repast. The city park just two blocks north of the motel is lovely for picnics, but Shoshone Park just a few miles east of Mullan is also a beautiful wilderness getaway for picnics, ballgames and hiking.

Spring and Fallare wonderful and colorful times to visit. There are easy to ride mountain bike trails, in addition to trails that challenge all levels of mountain bike enthusiasts. The old railroad grade from Mullan to Lookout Lodge is a great 8 mile ride. A short drive south of Mullan are trailheads that offer hiking through beautiful mountainous scenery which eventually lead to exquisite mountain lakes, including the upper and lower Stevens Lakes and the solitary Lone Lake

Winter time offers several types of recreation. Besides downhill and cross country skiing, and snowboarding, there are hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails for the snowmobile enthusiast. Snowmobiles can be driven right up to the door of your motel room. Game, also, can be found aplenty when the hunting seasons start.

Our motel is clean, quiet and comfortable and offers satelite tv, as well as microwaves and/or refrigerators. Three rooms offer complete kitchenettes. We offer weekly and monthly rates, as well as mid-week specials and ski and mountain bike packages.

Reservations are suggested.
