 The hike from the trailhead to Lone Lake is easier and a little longer than the hike to the Stevens lakes area. The falls are more dramatic and the variety of wildflowers seem different. (or is it just because it is a different time of year?) Once the lake is reached you'll find that you can sit for hours and enjoy the quiet serenity, fresh air and beauty of the lake and its wildlife. As you can see, the many perspectives and reflections available from each side of this little lake is a photographer's dream |
